Stories to touch the heart and mind
What's New for me
What's New for my writing buds
Candace Morehouse has a way of conveying the beauty
of SW New Mexico, as reflected in this 4 cup review by
CoffeeTime Romance, " ... I loved how the author keeps
you informed; yet could still surprise. Carefully woven
all of this together then add the sensual romance scenes
and you have the perfect historical romance, that we all
know and love. A dynamite read."
Check out the new historical romance by Ms. Morehouse, Suspicion of
Love. The story revolves around Jacqueline Brooks in the year 1901
who unexpectedly takes over a family detective agency. The catch? She
must leave the safety of her small town life in Wisconsin
and start anew in London under the doubtful eyes of
her new partner, Stephen Haversham. Is that a recipe for
complications, murder, mystery, and romance or what?
As stated in her first review by Dawn Huffaker, "My
interest was kept throughout. The characters were
believable. I’m a fan, Ms. Morehouse!”
Eppie winning sequel to Celestial Dragon, A Noble Sacrifice,
by Ciara Gold, is available in print. Romance Junkies writes:
"... Romance, rebellion and redemption all come
together in an explosive tale about the power of love
and redemption. Definitely an excellent sequel but
be forewarned though, this book will be best
appreciated after reading its prequel, CELESTIAL
DRAGON, another not to be missed book by
Ciara Gold that will no doubt leave you scrambling for more."
Folks, I read this book and could not put it down Stayed up till 2:30 in
the morning to reach the conclusion. It deserved the EPIC - Big Mike
Kaitlin's Silver Lining, the fourth book in Ciara Gold's Romantic Treasures
Series is now available in print as a POD. Check
out this review from Fallen Angels Reviews: "... Ms. Gold
takes us back in time to explore a life a lot harder than our
own. Her portrayal of the era is always full of color and three
dimensional and her characters are people you’d expect to find
walking down the boardwalk or sitting on a stool at the town
saloon.......Ms. Gold has again delivered a story of such depth
that you find yourself anxiously awaiting the next step in the
journey of these two unlikely lovers."
FLOWER OF PASSION, a paperback by
Rosa Lerma ,made the publisher best seller list,
and received The Romance Studio's 5 star review:
"This has to be one of the most fun stories I have read in
a long time."..."I would highly recommend it to anyone
looking for a fun read with just enough passion, love,
and on-the-edge-of-your-seat action."
If your looking for a short Novella for a stocking stuffer,
check this review out for CHRISTMAS FOR THE COWBOY,
by Patrica Bates: "A very steamy novella by that provides a
small peek into the life of Holly and Ty, a married couple
with only a few nights together per year due to Ty’s riding
on the rodeo circuit... Ms. Bates does an excellent job of
painting a complete picture in a few short chapters. The
sex scenes are vivid and prolonged, sure to please any fan
of spicy romantic novels."
Here's a great 5 star review from Romance Studio for my
budette Cindy Davis' new release Final Masquerade:
"Cindy has built a great story of one woman's character built
from the ashes, so to speak. Paige has no interests except
shopping and living the good life before she starts to run. ...
Not only is this an excellent suspense and romance, it's a
well-told tale of America and the people who keep it great with
their compassion. Ms. Davis has done a superb job building
this story into a real treasure."
If you're into the supernatural, check out these two reviews
on Michelle Pillow's novel Faury Queen by Romantic Times:
"Those who are hardy and brave will applaud this tale of love."
Or how about this one from Sensual Reads: "We could all
use a little bit of Euphoria now and again. ...Michelle M. Pillow
is pure magic."
AllisonKnight’s “Heartsong” has won the publishers award
for BEST NOVEL OF THE YEAR. It is a medieval romance
and has received a five star review from Long and Short
Reviews, who said -“Ms. Knight does a superb job of bringing
the characters to life. GOOD READING !”
If you like historical westerns, checkout Patrica Bates new
release Love Thy Neighbor. Here's a taste of what's between
the covers: Rylee Parys, a small time rancher, stands alone in
a bitter war over water and land. Ex-cavalry officer, Tom
Duncan has returned from the civil war only to end up in the
middle of another war. Pitted against the slim, boyish looking
Rylee, he’s uncertain who to believe. When the hostility
becomes physical, Tom must make a stand.
