" it is great seeing a male romance writer. I think that Davis has a
real talent for writing romance. He has a way of looking at romance
that only a man can. It is truly a unique book and Davis is a unique
writer to the genre.

Long and Short of It

"Tainted Hero is definitely a must read. Mr. Davis has penned an
engaging romantic thriller that keeps you wondering what will
happen next (and how will the already tortured hero handle it).
Then to add another layer, Mr. Davis utilizes his military
knowledge to add another element of realism that this reviewer
hasn't seen in a long time. If you like a story with a mix of secrets,
mystery and military men, and that's a constant on the edge of

"I really enjoyed the book. While romantic in nature the book was very
thought provoking and showed the tender side of a man who was
capable of extreme violence. I would strongly recommend this book to all
that enjoy romance, as well as a masterful plot. Michael Davis is a great
